
Molly F. Jansen
Founder and Managing Partner
Molly F. Jansen is a distinguished Criminal Defense and Personal Injury Attorney in the Denver Metro Area for the last 20 years. Molly is a Colorado Native and a proud mother of three. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Colorado State University and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She is currently attending the MBA program with a concentration in Marketing at the University of Denver, Daniels School of Business. Ms. Jansen appears live every Monday morning from 9am-10AM on 107.9, KBPI to answers legal questions in many different areas of law.
Ms. Jansen began her career interning with the Republican National Committee analyzing Gubernatorial races throughout the United States. She then moved to Washington, D.C. and worked as a Legislative Aid for Congressman Thomas Campbell. Ms. Jansen attended the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law and was an intern with the Jefferson County District Attorneys. In 2003, Molly opened a law firm with another prosecutor. In 2005, she opened Molly Jansen Law Group, P.C as sole practitioner and then rebranded to Molly Jansen Law Group. The Firm currently consists of two Managing partners, of Counsel and support staff.
Ms. Jansen has tried over 300 cases and was appointed as a commissioner to the Colorado Judicial Review Commission for JD17 (Broomfield and Adams County) beginning in 2018. Ms. Jansen was then nominated as Chairwoman for which she served two years. Ms. Jansen is a former candidate for District Attorney in the 2016 election in JD17 (Broomfield and Adams Counties.) Ms. Jansn is a constitutionalist and strives to protect the constitutional rights of her clients. She ran for office to revamp the disproportionate sentencing of certain cases and to readdress rehabilitative programs in the 17th.
Ms. Jansen has successfully represented clients on charges ranging from serious and/or violent offenses such as rape/sexual assault, murder, attempted murder, robbery, gun offenses, crimes with sentencing enhancements, domestic violence, internet Crimes, Attorney General cases, driving under the influence, theft-related offenses, narcotics cases, probation violations, and much more. Many of her high-profile cases have been recognized and highlighted by the media.
